What's it like when your to busy to BLOG?
I have had about the most eventful couple of weeks as I have had since moving to Prattville. My wife and I are moving away from Prattville :) Yep you heard it here folks to the wide blue yonder know as East Montgomery. I will have to get up extra early (5:30 or so) but I couldn't be happier. We found the perfect 3 bedroom/2 bath/ big back yard house in Halcyon right behind Eastchase.
The process has been exciting and stressful but to tell you the truth a lot easier than I thought it would be. We will be closing on Halloween and will probably have 18 million trick or treaters while we are still moving stuff in.
Work is crazy too. I have been in my new department now for 2 and a half months and I am learning so much but I'm not getting my 4 pm leave time anymore, most days 5 is about when I'm driving out the gate. But it's worth it and I feel like I am accomplishing a lot more now than on the paper machines.
It's crazy how much life changes all around us without asking us what our ideal situation would be. Our friends Leslie and John McElheny found out they are "expecting" with a due date exactly on their two year wedding anniversery. We just spent the weekend with them and they are not in the best place financially with John in law school to have a baby but they are happier than I have ever seen them. So I will leave you with a related remark
