Homework Assignment

Alright, I'm gonna have to pull an AP test switchero on you Nick. Since my music vocabulary is very limited and I don't really "do" classic rock ,which will probably be like 75% of the responses, I am going to put this forward.
If the question read "You could have only 10 movies for the rest of your life what would they be?"
(in no specific order)
- Star Wars IV (A New Hope)
- Old School
- Garden State
- Spiderman 2
- Star Wars V (Empire Strikes Back)
- Star Wars VI (Return of the Jedi)
- Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
- The Princess Bride
- Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
- The Usual Suspects

Alright I know that was a copout but music just doesn't mean the same thing to me as it does to most. BTW I have all three of those movies from my last post (the good ones) so if you would like to see them let me know.

Day 2

Scrabble is the greatest board game ever invented. My wife and I have taken to 1 on 1 matches to prepare for couples events in the future. It's actually a really fun way to do it especially becaue we are both VERY competitive. Words/definitions have always been a really geeky love of mine and I cannot stand to read a word and not know what it means. This can present a problem if you read as many books as I do. Since I make linerboard and don't do anything philosphical at work I am probably gonna stick with writing about my books and movies, especially since nobody probably wants to hear about my crack addiction (World of Warcraft, aka World of War"crack"). I have seen four movies in the past three days and I would recommend three of them.
  • Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
  • The Island
  • The Benchwarmers
  • V for Vendetta

Hopefully you can guess which one comes in at #4(a slightly funny #4)think

Billy Madison + Duece Bigelow + Napoleon Dynamite = Benchwarmers

Good for a laugh just don't think to hard :). The other three though I don't know if we can be friends if you don't watch them. And last thing before I get back to work. I don't care if James Frey is a freaking liar, that bastard can freaking write a book. "A Million Little Pieces" is phenomenal so far and I'm only at page ~130 out of 430, you don't come across to many non chick books that can make you happy/sad/feel his pain like Frey.

I think maybe since this is a blog I should leave you with some words of wisdom each time just to keep you on your toes, today its going to be Brodie from "Mallrats"

"Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn for Sega"

So this is what it's all about. You type something in here and people just respond to it? Well I can't wait to see what people say about this one.
